Auto Update Cache

Setting up Cron

The cache update mechanism should be driven by cron.

1. If you are running Cron for JomSocial, then you need not to put any effort to update cache. Our system will update on cache automatically.
2. You can also run the Cron through the link www.yourwebsite.com/index.php?option=com_xius&view=users&task=runCron&xiuskey=key

Here key belongs to the key stored in Configuration of Xius.

XiUS Configuration -> Search -> Key to pass while update cache

Note: It is strongly recommended that you need to provide the right KEY for proper running Cron (for updating cache).

By XiUS configuration (without cron)

Please follow few steps

1. Go to Advance-configuration (On configuration Page of XiUS back-end) and set to "Yes"  into "Cache Auto Update".
   
2. Set frequency of cache updation :  Lowest /Low/Normal/High ( 5min, 15min, 30min and 60min)
