Basic Configuration

Configuration screen of XiUS contains "Basic configuration" option which can be configured according to your requirements. These configurations enhance the searching performance of your website.

Through Basic configuration screen, you can configure following options:

Template

• Select Template : From this option, Select one of these three layouts: Default, Linkedin and Nextgen.
• Integrate with JomSocial : If set to Yes then XiUS search menu will be shown with JomSocial menus otherwise XiUS search menu should be created by Joomla menu item or enable the xiussearchpanel module which shows XiUS search panel.

Search

• Key to pass while update cache : We update the cache table with the cron setup. You can set any key (password) to disallow unauthenticated cache updation. We update the cache as we get the right key mentioned in this field.
• Enable Debug Mode : If set to "Yes" then debug messages will be enabled at front end. So that you can easily debug the messages and one can come to know if there is any error. If it is set to "No" then no debug messages will be displayed.

List

• Accessible User Group which can create List : It provides confidential functionality with user List. By this, Admin can set accessibility criteria on which Joomla users can create List.
