So I recently bought JomSocial, and am trying to create a membership-based personals site. Here are the things I want to institute.

1. Want to allow anyone, paid member or not, to join my site and fill out a profile.

2. Want to allow only PAID members to be able to send messages.

3. Would prefer that, once a person registers for a free account and then goes on to register for a MEMBERSHIP account, that the paid account maintains the same username and password code (I know this may not be possible because PayPal subscriptions management creates their own usernames and passwords).

4. On the main page where it has a list of members, I want the PAID members' profiles to show up first. I have it set up so that only 20 profiles can be seen on the main page, and I want all 20 of those profiles to be paid members.

Would greatly appreciate if anyone could tell me if I could do all 4 of these things with JSPT.

#2 You can create ACL rule for restrict sending messages for particular profiletype.

Is there a way I can restrict the number of messages a free member can read per day? I want the free members to be able to read around 5 messages per day, but not to be able to send messages.

Hi,

JSPT provide ACL rule to restrict reading message and sending message.
But it can not restrict per day messages.
